Springfield, Mass. - May 14, 2018 - Springfield College head women's volleyball coach Moira Long will be sharing her expertise alongside some of the most decorated coaches in the sport at the upcoming Art of Coaching Volleyball Clinic on May 19-20.
Teaching more than 250 coaches this upcoming weekend at the University of Massachusetts Boston, Long will be joined by the likes of Penn State's Russ Rose, former Stanford Coach John Dunning, Michigan State's Cathy George, former USA Women's Volleyball National Team Coach Terry Liskevych, and more.
During her time at the clinic, Long will present and teach on libero training and well as defensive eye sequencing and program culture. Long has coached collegiate volleyball since 1997, having racked up 488 wins at a .683 winnining percentage during stints at Dickinson, Plymouth State, and Springfield College. In her seven seasons at Springfield College, Long has guided the Pride to six appearances in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, including a trip to the Elite 8 in 2011 and Sweet 16 appearances in 2015 and 2016.
