    Springfield, Mass. - September 19, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team battled to a straight-set victory over Clark University in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Tuesday in Blake Arena.  In a rematch of last year's NEWMAC Championship Semifinal, the Pride toughed out a 25-22, 25-22, 25-18 victory.

    Springfield, Mass. - September 16, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team battled to a five-set win over visiting WPI in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday in Blake Arena.  The Pride prevailed by the scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-23, 18-25, 15-12.

    Schenectady, N.Y. - September 14, 2017 - Competing out of region for the first time this season, the Springfield College women's volleyball team pulled out a five-set victory at Union College on Thursday evening.  The Pride earned a 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 22-25, 15-8 non-conference win in the Viniar Athletic Center.

    Cambridge, Mass. - September 12, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team was bested in its New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener against nationally-ranked MIT at Rockwell Cage on Tuesday night.  The 20th-ranked Engineers won by the set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 23-25, 25-14.

    Cambridge, Mass. - September 9, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team split a pair of matches at the MIT Invitational on Saturday in Rockwell Cage.  The Pride was bested by No. 15 La Verne by the scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-18 before rallying for a 25-16, 20-25, 20-25, 25-17, 25-19.

    Beverly, Mass. - September 8, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team rebounded from an opening set loss to defeat Endicott College, 3-1 on Friday night in the MIT Invitational at MacDonald Gymnasium.  In a rematch of last year's NCAA Division III Championship First Round, Springfield won by the set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-13.

    Springfield, Mass. - September 2, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball program picked up wins over Endicott and Rivier on Saturday to capture the 2017 Springfield College Invitational in Blake Arena.  The Pride improved to 4-0 and was paced by the play of Hayley Kmetz (Ardsley, N.Y.), who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the weekend and was joined by Anagabrielle Sanchez (Caguas, Puerto Rico) on the all-tournament team.

    Springfield, Mass. - September 1, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team opened up the 2017 season on Friday night with a pair of three-game sweeps in Blake Arena as part of the Springfield College Invitational.  The Pride eased past Westfield State before knocking off Rivier to improve to 2-0 on the young season.

    Lexington, Ky. – August 17, 2017 – A year removed from one of the most successful seasons program history, the Springfield College women's volleyball team enters the 2017 year receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Coaches Top 25 Preseason Poll. The Pride is one of only five programs from New England to receive votes in the national poll.
  • Women's Volleyball Garners Sixth-Consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award

    Lexington, Ky. - August 15, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team was one of 140 programs throughout Division III to be recognized with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. This marks the sixth-straight season that the Pride has been recognized for its academic achievements.
