  • Donnelly and Sanchez Earn AVCA All-Region Accolades

    Lexington, Ky. - November 10, 2017 - Springfield College's Jen Donnelly (Exeter, R.I.) and Anagabrielle Sanchez (Caguas, Puerto Rico) were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III New England All-Region Team.  This season, Springfield was one of only three schools from across the region to have at least two all-region selections.

    Babson Park, Mass. - October 31, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team had their season come to a close on Tuesday night as it was defeated by Babson College in four sets in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship.  The Beavers won by the scores of 25-9, 25-15, 24-26, 25-14.

    Williamstown, Mass. - October 20, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team dropped a four-set match to host Williams College in the opening match of the New England Challenge in Lasell Gymnasium.  The Ephs won by the scores of 25-17, 25-27, 25-21, 25-17.

    Rochester, N.Y. - October 14, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team concluded the Brick City Invitational with losses to Vassar and host RIT on Saturday.  Vassar won by the scores of 25-19, 25-17, 30-28 before RIT rallied past the Pride 19-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-13.

    Rochester, N.Y. - October 13, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team put together a hard-fought, five-set victory against Nazareth College in the Brick City Invitational hosted at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The Pride won by the set scores of 25-20, 28-26, 21-25, 20-25, 15-9 to improve to 14-5 on the season.

    Beverly, Mass. - September 8, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team rebounded from an opening set loss to defeat Endicott College, 3-1 on Friday night in the MIT Invitational at MacDonald Gymnasium.  In a rematch of last year's NCAA Division III Championship First Round, Springfield won by the set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-13.

    Springfield, Mass. - September 2, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball program picked up wins over Endicott and Rivier on Saturday to capture the 2017 Springfield College Invitational in Blake Arena.  The Pride improved to 4-0 and was paced by the play of Hayley Kmetz (Ardsley, N.Y.), who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the weekend and was joined by Anagabrielle Sanchez (Caguas, Puerto Rico) on the all-tournament team.

    Springfield, Mass. - September 1, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team opened up the 2017 season on Friday night with a pair of three-game sweeps in Blake Arena as part of the Springfield College Invitational.  The Pride eased past Westfield State before knocking off Rivier to improve to 2-0 on the young season.
  • Women's Volleyball Receiving Votes In AVCA Division III Preseason Poll

    Lexington, Ky. – August 17, 2017 – A year removed from one of the most successful seasons program history, the Springfield College women's volleyball team enters the 2017 year receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Coaches Top 25 Preseason Poll. The Pride is one of only five programs from New England to receive votes in the national poll.
  • Women's Volleyball Garners Sixth-Consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award

    Lexington, Ky. - August 15, 2017 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team was one of 140 programs throughout Division III to be recognized with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. This marks the sixth-straight season that the Pride has been recognized for its academic achievements.
