Clark '15 to Represent Springfield College on American Ninja Warrior

Springfield, Mass. - July 9, 2018 - Former standout gymnast Abby Clark '15 will represent Springfield College and the women's gymnastics program in Season 10 of American Ninja Warrior, an American sports entertainment competition, as the Holderness, N.H. native will compete in the Minneapolis, Minn. qualifier, to be aired on Monday, July 9 at 8 p.m. EDT. 

American Ninja Warrior features hundreds of competitors attempting to complete a series of obstacle courses of increasing difficulty, trying to make it to the national finals on the Las Vegas Strip, in hopes of becoming an "American Ninja Warrior". Clark is no stranger to the American Ninja Warrior circuit, as she competed in the Cleveland, Ohio qualifier during the summer of 2017. 

In 2015, Clark finished her career at Springfield College in impressive fashion, as she claimed a National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championship on the balance beam. Clark tied her school-record mark of 9.775 as she became the first Springfield College women's gymnast to ever win a national title on beam, and became just the eighth individual national champion in program history.

Clark, a four-time national qualifier, earned a pair of All-America accolades during her time with a the Pride, as in addition to collecting All-America honors on the beam in 2015, she also claimed All-America honors in the all-around competition as a sophomore in 2013. 

The Minneapolis, Minn. episode will air at 8 p.m. EDT on Monday, June 9 and will be broadcasted on NBC. The episode can also be streamed here.
