Men's Tennis Kicks Off 2016 Season at Nichols Invitational

Dudley, Mass. - September 11, 2016 - The Springfield College men's tennis team opened up the 2016 campaign at the inaugural Nichols College Invitational consisting of Clark, Colby-Sawyer, and Nichols at the Robinson Tennis Courts.

Alex Romaine (Stamford, Conn.) won the consolation finals in the "A" singles division, while teammate Court Honda (Marioka, Japan) was victorious in his consolation final of the "B" singles division.  

Additionally, in "A" doubles, the duo of Chris Unger (Westfield, Mass.) and Cameron Grant (Babylon, N.Y.) battled through two rounds of competition before ultimately falling in the championship final.

The Pride will hit the courts again on Friday, September 16 when it hosts Eastern Nazarene at 4:00 pm.
