Springfield, Mass. - May 30, 2017 - Jake Reynolds (Scituate, Mass.) of the Springfield College men's lacrosse team was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Honorable Mention All-America Team after leading the Pride to its 10th-straight conference championship in 2017.
With the national recognition, Springfield has now had 28 Division III All-America honors since 1996.
Reynolds had a remarkable junior campaign between the pipes which also led him to previously being named the inaugural New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Year. The Health Care Management major registered a .591 save percentage, making 214 saves, to go along with a 9.32 goals against average. Reynolds had 13 games with double-digit saves, highlighted by three games with at least 20 stops, including a pair of 21-save performances in wins over Stevens and Endicott.
In addition to this national honor, Reynolds was previously tabbed a NEWMAC All-Conference First Team and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III North Second-Team selection.
