    Springfield, Mass. - November 6, 2017 - Springfield College's Maggie Kennedy (Clay, N.Y.) and Amanda Nusbaum (Conway, N.H.) were recognized for their impressive seasons, as they each were named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

    Babson Park, Mass. - November 4, 2017 - The Springfield College field hockey registered three goals in the second half but fell to nationally-ranked Babson College, 7-3, in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday morning at MacDowell Field on the campus of Babson College. 
  • Kennedy Chosen To Compete In 2017 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game

    Gilbert, Ariz. - November 2, 2017 - Springfield College field hockey standout Maggie Kennedy (Clay, N.Y.) was one of 60 student-athletes from across the country selected to participate in the 2017 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Game.  The contest will be held on Nov. 18 at 5 pm at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.

With the win, Springfield College improves to 5-0 on the year, the program's best start to a season since 1996.

  • Field Hockey Runs Past Husson, 4-2, For Fourth-Consecutive Win

    Springfield, Mass. - September 9, 2017 - The Springfield College field hockey team netted three in the first half and remained unbeated as it defeated Husson University, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon at Stagg Field. The Pride's fourth-consecutive win to begin the 2017 campaign is the best start for the Pride since the 2007 season when it also started 4-0. With the loss, Husson suffers its first setback of the season and is now 2-1.
