Football To Hold Cancer Awareness Game on Saturday

Springfield, Mass. - October 12, 2016 - The Springfield College football team's game against Rochester will have a special focus on Saturday as the Pride will be working on raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer.

The team will be focusing their attention on prostate cancer in recognition of their athletic trainer, Barclay Dugger, who is currently battling the disease.

In addition to wearing light blue for prostate cancer awareness, the Pride will be selling BD Strong t-shirts and limited edition light blue Springfield College helmets for $20.  All proceeds will go directly to the American Cancer Society.

Springfield College football would like to thank Stadium Systems for their generous support of this weekend's cancer awareness game.
