The loss proved to halt the Pride's four-game winning streak, as the maroon and white is now 5-4 overall, while the Lancers improve to 7-3 on the year.

This marks the third-consecutive victory for the Pride, as the maroon and white is now 4-3 overall with a 2-0 mark in conference play, while the Lyons fall to 0-9 on the year with an 0-3 record against league opponents. This marks the fourth-consecutive season that Springfield College has won its home opener.
